The Grand Hotel Monto since 1929

The Grand was established in 1929, and the heritage building has carried the town's stories ever since. The cow head, windmill and trees in our logo aren't decoration - they're Monto and the North Burnett: cattle country, big skies and a tight community.
We're slowly turning the timeline wall inside the pub into a proper history page so locals, travellers and family of past owners can find it online. If you have old photos or stories of the Grand, we'd love to hear from you.
